In 2016, The Philippines rolled out the final phase of the K12 Basic Education Program. It was an opportunity for schools to reform and innovate. The Challenge was to engage the students more than ever. In iACADEMY, we had to make Senior High School relevant.

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL)

is the act of learning through identifying a real-world problem and developing its solution (Gawron, 2015).

PBL

is a teaching strategy when students work with classmates to solve complex and authentic problems, that help develop content knowledge as well as problem-solving reasoning, communication, and self-assessment skills

(Stanford University, 2012).

A custom teaching method that provides students with the entire academic and creative educational experience through the conception and completion of authentic & meaningful projects with real-world applications (Buyco, 2018).
