“Here We Go Again” by Stallin’ is a Short Musical Skit Project derived from our research, “The Relationship of the Emotional Stability and Well-being of Local Artists in light of the ongoing pandemic”. It’s a topic that hits close to home for most artists, not just locally, but all over the world. Everyone expected artists to bloom with all the free time in their hands, but the pandemic has hit artists not just physically with all the jobs lost. It is Mentally and Emotionally Draining with rising cases and no light at the end of the tunnel.

In today’s time, it’s easy to get lost in uncertainties and questions. Especially to teenagers, it makes them feel useless and powerless. The students wanted to showcase through their project that the ability to inspire and empower other people - whether it be through music or any other art form. The students wanted to send out the message that in this war against COVID-19, we have our art --- our voice as our weapon - a weapon that has the power to heal and inspire people. The students believe that that kind of weapon is the most effective to wield in this fight against the pandemic.

“Animal” by 6AL was inspired by true events and showcases a method of artist branding from our research topic, “The Perception of Music Enthusiasts on the Online Showcasing Methods for Artist Branding. In this time of the pandemic, in the midst of this quarantine, things have been significantly more difficult to do, especially when it comes to creating new content as a band, and school has transitioned into online learning. Our skit emphasises these two issues, and showcases it in a comedic, yet realistic way.
